Lapuan Kankurit | Koodi Wool Throw | Orange, Rose | 51" x 71"
Designed by Elina Helenius, the KOODI blanket is inspired by the check patterns of HUVILA blankets, creating new shapes and rhythms. It was featured at the Lapuan Kankurit 50th anniversary exhibition, "Woven Journey," at the Lapua Art Museum.
Made from 100% wool, the KOODI blanket is soft, lightweight, and suitable for year-round use. It is woven and finished in Lapua, utilizing wool yarn spun from certified Wool Integrity NZ fiber, with South American wool fiber for the warp.
The production process is responsibly managed from yarn to final product, primarily at their own weaving mill in Lapua. This includes all stages, such as product development, material procurement, loom programming, and sewing, which is handled in Lithuania or Lapua.
Material: 100% Wool
Size: 51" x 71"
Care: Only wash the textile if it is very dirty. Otherwise, take it outdoors to fresh air for a while. If washing, use hand wash at a maximum temperature of 86°F (30°C) or opt for dry cleaning. If using powder detergent, dissolve it in plenty of water first. Immerse the blanket in the solution and wash it immediately. Gently squeeze the fabric; do not scrub, stretch, or wring it out. Rinse thoroughly and squeeze out most of the water. Press the blanket between towels until it is half-dry, then leave it to dry in a well-ventilated area. Do not tumble dry. If ironing, use a damp cloth and set the iron to a maximum temperature of 302°F (150°C)
