The Addy dress is made of cotton poplin, and it features the work of art called La Figure du Vivant, which is printed in Helsinki. The sleeveless dress has a deep V-neck in the back, which also features long bands that can be used to tighten the back waist. There are pockets in the side seams. The straight dress has a relaxed fit.
Marimekko’s ready-to-wear collection pre-fall 2022 features five paintings by French artist Virginie Hucher. Selected clothing pieces were designed to adapt to the artwork. The technically sophisticated placement prints were made in Marimekko’s printing mill in Helsinki.
