The Futuristi cotton linen dress has a relaxed, straight fit, and it features the Meduusa pattern. The dress has a banded collar, a metal zipper, and an O-ring puller. The dress has chest pockets, box pleats at the front, and pockets at the side seams. The cuffed sleeves have button closures.

Maija Isola drew inspiration for her work from her countless trips worldwide. Medusa (jellyfish) was originally part of a collection entitled Aurinko ja Meri (Sun and the Sea), in which patterns were inspired by the island of Crete in the Mediterranean Sea. The endlessly fascinating marine world enchanted the designer.
