The Majus dress is made of a lightly draping cupro and viscose blend with a slim, A-line fit. The dress is printed in the Akvarelli Unikko pattern, which looks like it was painted with watercolors. The dress has a boat neck, side seam pockets, a curved hem, and side slits. The neckline is connected to the sleeves with a curved panel.
Unikko (poppy), symbolizing creativity, was born when hardly any floral designs were included in Marimekko’s collections. Maija Isola, however, was fascinated by the theme of flowers and decided to create an entire range of novel floral prints.
Material
60% Cupro, 40% Viscose
Cupro is a regenerated cellulose fiber with a silky, soft feel. The beautifully drapey cupro fabrics are lightweight and breathable.
Washing
We recommend washing cupro products separately inside-out with a delicate care program in the washing machine. Please do not wring your cupro items.
Shaping & Drying
Carefully reshape the product into its original shape while damp and hang to dry.
Ironing
Iron your cupro items inside-out. Ironing also helps in restoring the product into its original size, shape and feel.
Storing
We recommend storing your cupro items folded in an airy space.
