The Marimekko Astrilli bandana is made from organic cotton and features the Vihkiruusu pattern.
The Vihkiruusu, or wedding rose, was created during a time when floral designs were rarely included in Marimekko's collections. However, artist Maija Isola was captivated by the theme of flowers and chose to develop an entire range of innovative floral prints. Among these designs, the iconic Unikko and Vihkiruusu were prominent.
