The Mangaani coat is made of water-repellent, bonded cotton twill in the Kivet pattern. The skin has a relaxed, straight fit. The coat has a high collar, drawstring hood, two-way metal zipper, and oversized flap pockets in the front. The sleeve ends can be tightened with snap buttons. The coat can be worn with the separate padded Kurtiini coat so that the outer jacket pockets lead into the inner coat pockets when they are attached.

Maija Isola’s Kivet (stones) design builds on circles cut with scissors. The pattern was most likely inspired by the big rough-edged stones manually cleared from the designer’s atelier home’s grounds.
