The Marimekko Kappale trousers have a relaxed fit, wide trouser legs, and they feature the Unikko pattern, which is printed in Helsinki. The trousers have a narrow elastic waistband with drawstrings on the inside and side seam pockets.
Marimekko trousers are cut using the whole width of the fabric, and therefore their appearance may vary slightly. Each item is unique.
Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
Material: 100% organic cotton poplin
Care: Wash inside out, in warm water, on a permanent press setting. Follow the washing temperature given. Wash separately. Hang to dry. Iron on medium heat.
